Appearance. Striking deep purple to violet color with a hazy, nearly opaque body. Topped by a pinkish-tinted, fine-beaded head that shows moderate to low retention, typical of fruited sour styles.
Aroma. High intensity, dominated by jammy blackberry and tangy blueberry notes. The Philly yeast fermentation contributes a clean, sharp lactic acidity and underlying fruity esters reminiscent of peach or apricot. Very low malt presence; no hop aroma.
