Basqueland Brewing

This Hazy IPA captures the après-ski spirit with a luminous, opaque golden appearance and a dense, white foam. The aroma is an intense bouquet of tropical fruit and citrus, supported by a neutral, lightly bready malt backbone. On the palate, vibrant layers of mango and stone fruit dominate, balanced by a soft, restrained bitterness that avoids any harsh edges. The mouthfeel is notably smooth and medium-full, offering a pillowy texture that carries the juicy hop character through a clean, off-dry finish. It is a modern, fruit-forward expression designed for drinkability and aromatic impact.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (3-7 SRM); opaque, hazy clarity with a luminous shine. Persistent, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit. Background malt is neutral, lightly bready, and grainy; no caramel or toast present. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. Very high tropical and citrus hop flavor. Low, bready malt provides a soft foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-to-mild due to the fuller body. Finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering fruity aftertaste devoid of harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel with no astringency or raw grain harshness. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
