Azimut Choco Stout presents a refined take on the Irish Stout, elevated by the addition of cacao nibs. The sensory profile is defined by a deep, roasted core where notes of dark chocolate and unsweetened cocoa from the cacao nibs intertwine with a moderate coffee-like bitterness. While the appearance is classically opaque and jet-black, the palate remains approachable and gourmande, balancing roasted grain intensity with a smooth, medium body. This sessionable yet decadent ale finishes with a lingering bittersweet cocoa character and a clean, dry roasted snap, capturing the spirit of a traditional dry stout with an enhanced dessert-like aromatic complexity and a remarkably smooth texture.

Appearance. Jet black with deep ruby-garnet highlights; opaque. Features a thick, creamy, long-lasting tan head with fine lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominated by raw cacao and dark chocolate notes from the cacao nibs. Secondary aromas of roasted coffee beans and toasted grain. Very low earthy hop aroma and minimal fruity esters.

Taste. Initial flavors of bittersweet chocolate and rich cocoa lead into a moderate roasted grain profile. Medium-high bitterness provides balance without being harsh. The mid-palate features coffee-like notes and a touch of roasted malt sweetness. The finish is moderately dry and clean, with a lingering aftertaste of unsweetened chocolate.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy character. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth at five percent. Minimal grain astringency, maintaining a soft and approachable texture.
