Monkey Business is an opulent Imperial Stout that presents as a liquid dessert, expertly weaving together the intensity of a high-gravity ale with decadent confectionery layers. Taste. Intensely flavorful with a sweet initial impression of toffee and marshmallow. The mid-palate reveals toasted coconut and bittersweet chocolate, supported by a firm roasted malt backbone. Bitterness is moderate but balanced by the significant residual sugar. The finish is long, sweet, and decadent, featuring lingering notes of cocoa and vanilla.
Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied, thick, and chewy with a luscious, velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present, providing a cozy, well-integrated glow without any harshness.
