This robust Baltic Porter presents a sophisticated sensory profile, anchoring its 9% strength in a rich foundation of molasses, toasted nuts, and dark chocolate. The addition of cedar wood spirals introduces a resinous, forest-like aromatic depth that bridges the gap between the beer's malty sweetness and its smooth, debittered roast. Black pepper provides a distinct spicy prickle, cutting through the dense layers of dried plum and raisin esters. The experience is exceptionally smooth, balancing the warmth of a strong ale with the clean, precise fermentation character of a cold-conditioned lager, finishing with a lingering touch of wood-derived tannins.

Appearance. Opaque dark brown with deep reddish-copper highlights (25-30 SRM). Supports a thick, persistent, tan-colored head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity maltiness featuring notes of caramel, toffee, and licorice. Spicy black pepper is prominent, complemented by the aromatic, sandalwood-like scent of cedar. Complex dark fruit esters reminiscent of plums and currants are supported by a clean, vinous alcohol presence.
