The aroma is a rich bouquet of baked bread and grainy malt, layered with pronounced fruity esters of ripe banana, apricot, and peach. On the palate, a soft initial sweetness from residual sugars quickly transitions into a sophisticated interplay of peppery phenols and earthy spice. The high carbonation creates an effervescent, smooth mouthfeel that masks the potent alcohol, finishing with a firm, dry bitterness and lingering notes of stone fruit and spice typical of traditional monastic brewing.
Appearance. Deep yellow to pale amber (SRM 5-7). Brilliant clarity with a long-lasting, creamy, snow-white head that leaves viscous lacing on the glass.

Ha un profumo dolce, di miele e caramello, al palato invece ben si percepiscono i sapori dei cereali e lievito; il tutto con un buon equilibrio tra malto e luppolo. E’ una birra particolare perchè ha un finale dolce e amaro allo stesso tempo, ma quello che rimane in bocca dopo la bevuta è il leggero amarognolo del luppolo.
