This classic Belgian Tripel presents a complex sensory journey, starting with its brilliant deep golden hue and a persistent, creamy white head. The aroma is a rich bouquet of baked bread and grainy malt, layered with pronounced fruity esters of ripe banana, apricot, and peach. On the palate, a soft initial sweetness from residual sugars quickly transitions into a sophisticated interplay of peppery phenols and earthy spice. The high carbonation creates an effervescent, smooth mouthfeel that masks the potent alcohol, finishing with a firm, dry bitterness and lingering notes of stone fruit and spice typical of traditional monastic brewing.
