Designed as a refreshing respite for the Romanian summer, Mort Stupide is a vibrant Table Saison that leverages the unique fermentation profile of Hornindal Kveik yeast. This session-strength ale bursts with an intensely tropical sensory profile, weaving together notes of pineapple, mango, and stone fruit driven by the Norwegian yeast and a generous hop presence. Despite its low 4% ABV, it maintains a complex character where soft, grainy malts support a balanced yet firm bitterness. It pours with a classic hazy appearance and finishes exceptionally dry, delivering a rustic farmhouse soul with a modern, fruit-forward twist.
Appearance. Pale gold with a slight haze consistent with its unfiltered nature. It features a dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High aromatic intensity led by the Hornindal Kveik yeast, offering deep tropical notes of ripe pineapple and mango. This is complemented by moderate citrus and floral hop character.
