This decadent Imperial Stout pours with the density of liquid velvet, immediately releasing a rich bouquet of speculaas spices. High-intensity aromas of dark chocolate and deep-roasted malts are layered with sweet threads of caramel and a distinct, warm cinnamon bite. On the palate, the experience is profoundly luxurious, echoing the crunch of Biscoff cookies through notes of toasted vanilla and spicy gingerbread. A foundational bitterness balances the pastry-inspired sweetness, while a smooth 10% alcohol warmth lingers alongside a finish of cocoa and spiced biscuit. It is a harmonious, dessert-like interpretation of the style, blending traditional roast with indulgent confectionery charm.

Appearance. SRM 40+; jet black and completely opaque. It supports a thick, persistent deep tan head with excellent lacing and visible viscosity, forming legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of dark roasted malts, manifesting as bittersweet chocolate and espresso, immediately followed by prominent notes of speculaas spices, cinnamon, and buttery caramel. Subtle vanilla and a hint of dark fruit esters like raisin provide additional complexity.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely rich and sweet, featuring layers of caramel, toasted biscuit, and vanilla. The mid-palate introduces a sharp cinnamon spice and deep roasted grain bitterness which balances the residual sugars. Hop flavor is low, allowing the speculaas cookie character and dark chocolate malt to dominate a long, warming finish.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a thick, chewy, and velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-low, providing just enough lift to the heavy frame, accompanied by a smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth.
