The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full, and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

Cerveza con denominación de origen Trapense, 11,3% de alcohol, de alta fermentación y con segunda fermentación en botella.

La Rochefort 10 presenta un color marrón oscuro profundo. Espuma densa y duradera. Su gran fuerza y su cuerpo rotundo se equilibran con una complejidad de sabores especiados y terrosos, con notas a castañas y chocolate amargo y reminiscencias a vino de Oporto, cuero, albaricoques y roble - una bebida muy interesante.

Combina muy bien con platos de caza que contengan trufas, o carnes con salsas de reducción muy intensas. Muy apta como cerveza para postre ya que acompaña perfectamente a los chocolates belgas más oscuros.

Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is our crown jewel; the pride of the Hertog Jan brewery. For this dark and heavy Hertog Jan beer the special Hertog Jan malt is used: a special mix of four kinds of malt. This gives a rich, full flavor in which sweet and bitter can be distinguished.

Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is one of the few beers that can be aged, the taste will become richer with the years. After two years of aging, the taste will start to change. After many years the taste will be similair to a Port wine.
