Colour: red brown hazelnut with rich, full head

Alcohol by volume: 8.0% - 16° Plato

Aroma: fruity (red fruit) and slightly smoked

Flavour: full-bodied and mild with beautifully balanced notes of grapes and chocolate 

Finish: slightly bitter, soft dry 

Augustijn Dark is a dark beer with a rather lightly smoked flavour and notes of nuts and caramel.

Cerveza oscura de abadía, 8 % de alcohol, de alta fermentación y con segunda fermentación en botella.

Con Augustijn Donker se ha completado de forma lógica la gama de cervezas de abadía, es la versión oscura, de color rojizo-avellana y una firme capa de espuma.

De aromas afrutados (fruta roja) y ligeramente ahumados, cumple con las expectativas al ser una cerveza robusta pero a su vez suave, con toques de pasa y chocolate, terminando con un amargor ligero y seco.

Embrasse is a heavy dark beer that is perfectly in between a heavy dark Abbey / Trappist beer and a Stout / Porter. The beer combines roasted malt and coffee / chocolate aspects with a pleasantly light fruitiness of dried subtropical fruits. Bittersweet flavors go together with a pronounced creamy mouthfeel and make drinking this beer to an exceptional delight for lovers of heavy dark beers.

Pleasant with a traditional cheese & sausage board / selection of hard piquant cheese.

Cerveza de color marrón oscuro profundo con una espuma de color moca. Aroma a malteado. Sabor en el que se nota el azúcar marrón quemado y caramelo, pero con un acabado picante.

De Dochter Van de Korenaar Embrasse se elabora con 9 diferentes maltas de cebada y trigo. Aromas a malta tostada, fruta negra con recuerdos de frutos secos y chocolate.
