Info:: The Bush Prestige is slightly cloudy owing to the re-fermentation in the bottle. When tasting, noticed first are the touches of wood, whisky and sherry. As it is matured in those oak barrels, the Bush Prestige absorbs and develops a unique suite of tannins – flavours not normally found in beers. The aromas very much remind you of whisky and other distillery products that have matured on oak. The overall taste is powerful and rounded, with the fine feel and finish of the source Bush Ambrée – just with that little bit more.

La Bush Prestige (Scaldis Prestige) sin duda hace honor a su nombre, ya que es una cerveza bastante prestigiosa. Gran parte de esa distinción la ha adquirido de los recipientes en los que madura. En lugar de reposar en tanques de acero inoxidable (como lo hace la Bush Ambrée, pasa seis meses en barricas de roble para nutrir su complejidad. El resultado tiene un perfil de sabor potente que, combinado con sus ricos aromas, su botella exclusiva y su distribución limitada, distinguen a la Prestige como una cerveza excepcional.
El licor base de la Prestige es el pilar de Dubuisson, la Bush Ambrée. Esta cerveza ámbar muy fuerte contiene solo lúpulo, azúcares naturales, agua extraída del pozo que se encuentra debajo de la cervecería y (por supuesto) la extraordinaria levadura de la cervecería. Esta levadura es famosa por su capacidad de permanecer activa incluso con grandes cantidades de alcohol, lo que ayuda a aumentar los índices de alcohol de dos dígitos de la gama Bush.
Pero como la levadura casera activa se alimenta de una mayor densidad de malta y también se somete a una fermentación cálida en botella, la Prestige alcanza un grado alcohólico volumétrico (ABV) aún mayor: 13,0 %. Esto convierte a la Bush Prestige en una de las cervezas de elaboración directa más fuertes de Bélgica.
