West Coast IPAs usually rely on a blend of hops to produce the complex structure of flavours we’ve come to expect. With Get The Jade Burnt Mill’ve only used Nelson Sauvin in order to celebrate the complex character of a hop that delivers big on aromas of rich vinous wine and gooseberry which, when paired with a dry, bitter finish, leaves us with a delicious beer and a fresh take on one of our favourite beer styles.

“Essentially a perfect single hop Nelson west coast IPA. I could probably manage it 20% more bitter, a real classic kick in the teeth, but as it is it is gorgeous on the nose with pine and grapey tropical fruit, dry and pithy in the finish. Gorgeous.”
“I’m pretty predictable in that if I see ‘Nelson Sauvin’ on a can, I’m buying that can. It’s front and centre here, all white grape and gooseberry with just a touch of passion fruit.”
