Kriek Boon is a 100% spontaeous fermented beer made from a mix of young and old lambic aged in oak barrels. Real cherries are added, at least 250 gram per liter beer. Whole cherries are mixed with the beer during fermentation for optimal taste. Kriek Boon is a fresh, sweet and sour foaming redish beer with an authentic taste of cherries. Boon uses champagne cork on the bottles.

Kriek betyder kirsebær, altså er Kriek Boon en spontangæret kirsebær øl. Boon bryggeriet forklarer, at de tilsætter friske krisebær (25%) til deres Lambic for at skabe en Kriek Boon. På mange måder kan denne frugt lambic stilart anses som den manglende forbindelse mellem øl og vin. En fremragende læskende sur og sødlig øl, der skal serveres koldt og helst på stilk.
