"Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°7 brings us back the typical long, dry aftertaste, yet very full-bodied taste that we are used to from Boon Black Label. With a very fresh citrus note and pleasant sparkle you can enjoy the Boon Black Label N° 7 as an elegant, easily drinkable tender Oude Geuze. This Edition N°7 was bottled on June 8, 2021. The blend is a mixture of lambic matured in oak barrels for one, two and three years. The Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N °7 is a perfect aperitif beer. It is certainly also an ideal gueuze to enjoy with patience. It goes perfectly with fish dishes, such as combinations with oysters, salmon or mussels."

In large oak barrels of more than a hundred years, lambic from all four corners of the PAJOTTENLAND ripens for years. Especially for you, lambic of 1, 2 and 3 years old was carefully tested, mixed and bottled. This Geuze only contains wheat, barley malt and hops. Not pasteurized and spontaneously refermented in the bottle.

Black Label “Limited Edition” (2015)
Old Geuze Boon Black Label was created in 2015 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Brouwerij Boon. This Oude Geuze is characterized by its dry aftertaste , fullness , balanced acidity and lively sparkle. Using one, two and three year old Lambic from oak foeders, Black Label is bottled in bottles of 75cl.

Black Label “Second Edition” (2016)
A second edition was bottled at the beginning of 2016. For this ‘Second Edition’ another blend was made in which the main characteristics of this Oude Geuze, dry aftertaste and yet full-blown, were kept in mind, but with a slightly different taste profile. Compared to the first edition where the alcohol content was 7%, the Second Edition Black Label contains slightly less: 6.4%. The fruity aromas of grapefruit and green apples are even more covered in the Second Edition. He is also softer, making it an excellent Oude Geuze as a thirst quencher during the hot days of the year.

Black Label “Edition N°3” (2017)
In November 2016 Black Label Edition N ° 3 was bottled. The taste of this Black Label is again a tad different. A very distinctive full flavor, but still typically extra dry like the previous editions. Citrus fruit keys such as grapefruit are more discreet than in the Second Edition, vanilla and oak are more prominent.
