BOON BREWERYFrank Boon, a pioneer of the authentic lambic and gueuze revival, has owned and operated Boon Brewery since 1975. However, the brewery has its roots in the village of Lembeek dating back to 1680 as a farm-brewery and distillery. In 1860, Louis Paul purchased the brewery to exclusively produce lambic and faro. By 1875, gueuze lambic was being bottled. Pierre Troch bought the brewery in 1898, but it changed hands after the economic crisis of 1927, ultimately being acquired by Joseph De Vits. Joseph's son, Rene De Vits, was highly regarded for producing exceptional soft and fine gueuze lambic. As Rene De Vits had no heirs, he sold the brewery to Frank Boon.

Framboise Boon lets you enjoy the pure, real taste of freshly picked raspberries. It is a heavenly combination of old and young Lambic, 300 grams of fresh raspberries and 50 grams of cherries per litre.
Framboise Boon is a spontaneously fermented beer made from old and young Lambic that matured in oak barrels. The secret of its high quality and authentic taste lies in the use of real fresh raspberries without any concentrates. Framboise Boon is made with as many as 300 grams of fresh raspberries per litre. We also add some 50 grams of cherries per litre to make the beer milder. We allow the raspberries to ferment together with the young Lambic beer to give Framboise Boon its fine authentic taste. This beer is completely natural: no sweeteners are added.
The raspberries are carefully harvested. They are cleaned immediately after being harvested and any twigs and leaves are removed. They are then frozen straight away and kept in the brewery's special cold storage. This allows us to use fresh raspberries to make Framboise Boon all year round.

The year on the bottle's neck label is the year the raspberries were harvested.

Framboise Boon gives you a refreshing, mild and full-bodied taste of fresh raspberries, as if you were to put them onto your tongue straight from the bush. It is the perfect thirst-quencher in the summer sun.
