The kriek lambic is then blended again with more young lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit, and is bottled immediately afterwards. These bottles are then stored in our cellars for at least five months so that the kriek lambic can develop into a beautiful, traditional, and refined Oude Kriek. With a pleasant tartness and organic notes of almond and cinnamon as it warms in the glass, 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek, will age perfectly but may lose some of the vibrant red colours and forest fruit aromas. This unfiltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no artificial juices, syrups, or sugars added. Traditional Lambic is living, cultural heritage rooted in the Zenne valley!

Ontdek de unieke smaak van onze eerste volledig biologische Oude Kriek! Deze bijzondere creatie is het resultaat van meer dan 11 maanden maceratie van zure kersen op één- en tweejarige lambiek. Voor deze blend hebben we ook extra tweejarige lambiek toegevoegd, afkomstig uit drie verschillende vaten en zes verschillende brouwsels.
Onze ingrediënten zijn met zorg geselecteerd: alle granen komen uit onze eigen Cereal Collective en de helft van de hop is afkomstig van Belgische velden. Met een gewogen gemiddelde leeftijd van meer dan twintig maanden, biedt deze Oude Kriek een rijke en complexe smaakervaring.
Met een finale fruitintensiteit van maar liefst 350 gram zure kersen per liter, is deze Oude Kriek een waar genot voor de liefhebber. Perfect voor speciale gelegenheden of om jezelf te verwennen. Mis deze unieke blend niet en ervaar de authentieke smaken van Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen!

Brouwerij 3 fonteinen is begonnen in 1882, met de oprichting van een herberg in Beersel, maar pas sinds 1999 wordt er in het café zelf Lambiek gebrouwen. Deze dagen hebben ze een gesplitste brouwerij die zich vooral focust in Lambiek en Geuze. Ze gebruiken hiervoor het liefts lokale granen. Door het natuurlijke process van lambiek brouwen, heeft elke batch een andere sensatie.
