De Struise Cuvée Delphine

Se trata de la versión de la Black Albert envejecida unos meses en barricas del conocido whiskey bourbon "4 Roses". En cuanto al nombre, aunque en un principio pensaron en llamarla 4 Black Roses, tras el consejo de los colegas de Kentucky decidieron no hacerlo y terminaron inspirándose en el nombre de la ilustradora, Delphine Boël. En cuanto al lema que podeis ver "Truth can set you free" por lo visto hace referencia a que la citada ilustradora es la hija bastarda del "rey" de Bélgica.

Vander Ghinste Roodbruin - Oud Bruin

Vanderghinste Oud Bruin es una clásica cerveza oscura de la zona oeste de Flandes. En su elaboración intervienen maltas de cebada y trigo, malta caramelizada y lúpulo. La cerveza resultante se mezcla con una lámbic joven y se deja envejecer en roble durante 18 meses. Su perfil es agrio es suave, por lo que resulta muy equilibrada.

Su receta ha sido premiada recientemente en varios certámenes, destacando el galardón que la declaró como la mejor cerveza oscura del mundo en los World Beer Awards de 2015.

Roman Rebelse Strop

Our brewers decided to take a different approach with Rebelse Strop. In particular, they opted for a fairly unusual and stubborn yeast variety: Brett. This obstinate variety causes the beer to continue developing over the course of time. Along with dry hopping, where the hops are added in the fermentation phase, this feature gives the beer a splendid aroma and a fantastic taste.

Earthy aromas merge into a light fruity smell.

The unruly Brett yeast causes the taste of the beer to keep developing long after bottling. Rebelse Strop that is rather young gets a more complex flavour: fruity, hopbitter and with a subtle acidity. In time, Rebelse Strop gets a slightly softer, rounder flavour.
