Barbãr

Deep blonde in colour, Barbãr’s creamy head gives off a powerful aroma, unobtrusively scented with honey and accompanied by a bouquet of floral, spicy and citrus notes.

The use of soft wheat gives a rounded attack, without heaviness. The sugar provided by the honey during the wort boiling undergoes fermentation and is converted into alcohol. Consequently, this is a soft but not sweet beer, with a touch of acidity which gives it freshness. The finish is full of finesse and without a bitter aftertaste. An original and distinctive beer whose distant origins go back to the “cervoise” brewed by our ancestors who called it “Warrior’s rest”.

A solid and expressive brown ale, Barbãr Botha’s inherited its original recipe, based on malt, soft wheat and honey, from its famous big sister.

A solid and expressive brown ale, Barbãr Bok’s inherited its original recipe, based on malt, soft wheat and honey, from its famous big sister. With its honeyed and spiced nose, it strongly resembles Barbãr, but with fruit, malt and chocolate notes. A decided and slightly acid attack gives way at once to a malted, chocolate flavour. It is fairly high in alcohol, but without exaggeration. The finish is long, fruity, slightly piquant and without a bitter aftertaste. Barbãr Bok is uniquely complex and is a fine tasting beer particularly appreciated in winter.

-------------------------------------------

Hopus Primeur

This hop was carefully selected as a result of several tests, and has been sourced in the United States for the third consecutive year. It is used during the dry-hopping phase, once fermentation is complete. Also known as raw hopping, this technique consists in the cold extraction of hop flavours, and offers the advantage of faithfully reproducing the taste profile. Its flavours will therefore be extremely elaborate: fruity notes of grapefruit and gooseberry blending with floral notes of jasmine, with a touch of exoticism brought by passion fruit and lychee. Its tasting ends with a very catchy and floral finish. Its bitterness is frank yet pleasant with a nice, long post-bitterness. This fantastic beer can be enjoyed in the early hours of spring while supplies last. Cheers!
