C’est le grand méchant loup des IPA de la côte ouest. Une quantité énorme de houblons Strata, Simcoe, Chinook, Cascade et Eureka! donne une explosion de notes florales, de pin résineux, de pamplemousse et de montagnes d’agrumes. Cette IPA percutante est soutenue par une forte colonne vertébrale maltée.

La potente luppolatura è bilanciata ed arricchita da una decisa dorsale maltata (Pale Ale e Cara Ruby) che apporta note biscottate e caramellate. Di medio corpo e carbonatazione, al palato è intensa, di facile beva con una buona complessità: attacco fruttato e di un caramello seguito da una luppolatura resinosa, erbacea e fortemente agrumata che conduce ad un finale asciutto con un persistente retrogusto amaro corredato da una leggera speziatura (pepe). Una classica Ipa all’americana ben fatta, semplice ma efficace, vecchia scuola.
