Up Front’s Call Of The Wild is a scotch whisky barrel-aged Wee Heavy brewed with cinder toffee. Collaboration between Up Front, Dog Falls, and the Applecross Brewing Company.
Brewed with Scottish grown base malt, whole cone E.K.G. hops, and slow fermented on neutral yeast. Aged in a selection of Islay and Highland whisky barrels with a touch of freshly made Scottish cinder toffee, before blending. Sweet and rich, with complex fruity malt notes, heavy caramel, light peat smoke, and subtle vanilla/tannin character, all combine to give a truly Scottish wee heavy.
