Sheppy's have been making cider for more than 200 years in Somerset, just outside of the county town Taunton, through six generations.

Sheppy’s Kingston Black Cider wordt geproduceerd uit een nu zeldzame oude Somerset ciderappelvariëteit genaamd Kingston Black. Aangenomen door Somerset cider-makers dat ze uit Kingston St Mary in de buurt van Taunton komen, staat het bekend als een van ‘s werelds beste cider-appelvariëteiten.
