For more than a century, Saison Voisin was beloved in the famous Hainaut region of Belgium until, in 1989, Leon Voisin closed the little brewery where it was made. The Brasserie des Geants, or ’Giants Brewery’, revived this rustic and historic ale with Monsieur Voisin’s blessing in the year 2001, using an original recipe from 1884. It is light on the tongue and refreshingly fruity and bitter, as a true saison should be.Amber coloured, refreshing with a light touch of bitterness and fruitiness. Saison Voisin is produced by top fermentation, is unfiltered and is refermented in the bottle.
