La Brasserie Dupont si trova in Vallonia, a Tourpes, poco distante dal confine con la Francia. Il birrificio nasce nel 1920 quando Louis Dupont acquisisce una tenuta nella quale si producevano birre già dal 1844.
Nel corso degli anni il timone del comando viene passato a professionisti che conservano inalterata la filosofia di Dupont: produrre birre di qualità nel rispetto della tradizione brassicola belga, senza farsi ammaliare dalle contaminazioni di stili moderni e restando al passo con i tempi nei processi produttivi.
La produzione annua si attesta sui 27000 hl e le birre di Dupont sono prodotti pregiati e richiesti, per alcuni versi “senza tempo”. L’esempio più indicativo è la celebre Saison Dupont, riconosciuta come la birra simbolo dello stile Saison e nominata più volte come migliore birra al mondo. Il birrificio si impegna inoltre nella produzione biologica, ricevendo il certificato Biogarantie.
