Nastro Azzurro nasce nel 1963 come birra Premium di Peroni e da subito diventa sinonimo di italianità; prende il nome dal premio che venne dato nel 1933 al transatlantico Rex, la nave che riuscì a percorrere in minor tempo la traversata dell'Atlantico. La suggestione del suo nome fà subito pensare al mare e all'aria aperta, richiama il Mediterraneo e l'estate, tutte cose che ancora oggi la caratterizzano. Si distingue da sempre per il suo gusto unico: secca e luppolata, fragrante e dissetante, continua a riscuotere consensi e a rappresentarci nel mondo.
Colore giallo dorato intenso, limpido e con schiuma bianca moderatamente persistente. Sprigiona aromi di brioches, pasta lievitata, crosta di pane, su sfondo floreale di fiori bianchi e agrumi. Il gusto è corretto, semplice ed efficace nella freschezza con un buon bilanciamento della nota amarognola finale. Risultato rinfrescante.
