8 Sail Brewery Fen Slodger

Brewed by 8 Sail Brewery who were established in 2010.  The brewery nestles in the shadow of Heckington Windmill, Britain's only eight sailed windmill, from which it takes it's name. 8 Sail Fen Slodger is a premium copper coloured bitter, flavoured with traditional English hops.  Fen Slodgers were the dwellers of the fens before they were drained and were described as “half amphibious beings who got their living by fishing and fowling”.
