Ficha Técnica Ophiussa Eulology: Para os gulosos deste mundo… e do outro!

Nesta deliciosa Cream Stout decidimos utilizar uma das nossas combinações favoritas no que toca a doces e sobremesas: chocolate e avelã! A cerveja que serviu de base a esta Cream Stout é bem diferente das restante. Tratou-se de um blend entre uma Imperial Stout com 12% Abv e uma BA Imperial Stout com 14% Abv que envelheceu 12 meses numa barrica de mezcal Casa del Sol. Embora o perfil do mezcal não apareça de forma predominante no produto final, atribui uma complexidade incrível ao mesmo. A esta base, após a maturação, adicionámos creme de avelã, chocolate em pó, leite condensado e um pouco de creme de coco. O resultado é maravilhoso e bem capaz de satisfazer todos os gulosos e gulosas que por aí andam!

For this delicious Cream Stout we decided to use one of our favorite combos when it comes to sweets and desserts: chocolate and hazelnut! The beer that was used as the base for this Cream Stout is very different from the others we used before. It was a blend between an Imperial Stout with 12% Abv and a BA Imperial Stout with 14% Abv that aged 12 months in a Casa del Sol mezcal barrel. Although the mezcal profile does not appear predominantly in the final product, it adds an incredible complexity to it. To this base, after maturation, we added hazelnut cream, chocolate powder, condensed milk and a pinch of coconut cream. The result is brilliant and will delight all the sweet tooths out there!
