Deadbeat is the first beer in a new Patrons Project series with artist Bobbi Abbey. To kick this series off in style, we worked with two of our Hop City guests, Prizm and Finback.
The special oil chemistry profile of Superdelic produces unique flavours and aromas of red fruit, sweet lollies, candy, citrus and tropical fruit. Superdelic was the result ten years of breeding work by NZ Hops, and was released in the 2023 season.
We backed it up with Azacca and Strata for additional notes of passion fruit, melon, lime and a bit of dankness.
The result is a thick DDH IPA with sweet mandarin, and tropical fruit flavours in a juicy, hazy 7.4%.
INGREDIENTS: Water, Malted BARLEY (GLUTEN), WHEAT (GLUTEN), OATS (GLUTEN), Hops, Yeast
7.4% ABV // 25 IBU // 10 EBC // 1.077 OG // 440ML
Deadbeat sold his last beer to the Devil in order to perfect the blues.
This is the first release with an exciting new Patron, made with two international breweries, and one of the first UK beers using a new NZ hop.
Welcome to Patrons 41.01, with Bobbi Abbey. Bobbi is a freelance artist based in Leeds who creates illustrations and murals which are inspired by a mix of B-movies, vintage cars, motorcycles, cartoons, tattoos, music and skateboarding.
This first release is Deadbeat. A lone drifter who wanders a scorched wasteland. His story is on the inside of the peel and reveal label.
For such an awesome new Patron, we called in some of the best from our Hop City guests, NYC’s Finback and Prizm Brewing Co from near Montpellier.
