Lambiek Fabriek’s Oude Geuze Brett‑Elle is a wild-fermented Belgian geuze blend composed of lambics of different vintages (1, 2, 3 and even 4 years old), aged in oak barrels before bottling. It carries 6.3 % ABV and is made in the traditional, spontaneous lambic style—unfiltered, bottle‑conditioned, and raw.

Aromas are distinctly funky, led by Brettanomyces—think barnyard, hay, rubber—complemented by tart citrus, green apple, and a touch of oak. tasting notes highlight a bright lemon acidity focused by effervescence, with lingering green fruit, floral accents, and a subtle bitterness to soothe the palate. despite the barrel time, wood influence stays gentle.

Bright carbonation adds a champagne-like dryness. expect a lingering, tart aftertaste sharp with minerality and funk. it’s ready to drink now but also ages well—up to two decades—softening wood and funk in time.
