Na een rijping op first fill Bourbonbarrels is er hazelnoot en karamel aan het bier toegevoegd. Het chocoladekarakter van het bier werd tijdens de rijping met een Bourbontouch verrijkt, en na de rijping ontstonden nog heel veel meer nootachtige tonen door de toevoeging van gemalen hazelnoten en karamel.
