Schalkse 10 is a special anniversary beer created by the hobby brewers of vzw De Hopscheppers to celebrate the 10-year milestone of the cultural center ‘t Schaliken. This blonde beer, brewed with Chimay yeast, offers a refreshing taste with a notable 10% alcohol content. The beer is top-fermented and re-fermented in the bottle, forming a lasting white, creamy head. Its complex aroma presents a delightful blend of spices (like cloves and coriander) and fruity notes, especially citrus, with hints of bitter orange zest, subtle lemon, and peach. Despite its high alcohol level, Schalkse 10 remains light and refreshing.
