Curiosidad: Guinness SPECIAL EXPORT fue encargada por el aventurero cervecero John Martin en 1944, y la receta tiene un potente sabor apropiado para su cervecería belga. El 8 % de alcohol le confiere un cuerpo intenso. Su generoso sabor malteado se combina con una cebada tostada ahumada. El regaliz y el caramelo de dulce de leche juegan un papel de apoyo junto a las melazas, una pizca de vainilla y matices de bayas. Una cerveza negra irlandesa con un lado continental.es la descendiente directa de la receta tradicional, basada en una elaboración de 1821, cuando Arthur Guinness II estableció instrucciones precisas para la elaboración de la Superior Porter. Esta cerveza ha sido la precursora del resto de innovaciones de Guinness.

The one exception is this version, also called GXS, which was originally brewed exclusively for John Martin while he developed his business on the European continent. Of course, the taste characteristics are similar to those of the traditional Irish one, but raised to a higher level : that goes especially for the alcohol content by volume of 8%, giving this beer an explosive taste of roasted malt and smoked wood and liquorice, ending in a very long aftertaste.
