This is the fifth edition to be produced under this label. This blond beer is enriched with whole cocoa beans. This is an extremely difficult task for a brewer in technical terms, because cocoa beans naturally contain a lot of oils and fats, which cause the head to collapse quickly. To pay tribute to the delicious cocoa beans, the brewers had to seek the right balance so as to brew a beer that holds up well. They opted for a blond beer that allows scope for the complex taste of the Criollo cocoa beans from the Tanzanian village of Mbingu (Swahili for ‘heaven’).
