Gospel Green has been produced using the 'Champagne Method' for making their cider in Hampshire since the 1990's, becoming a pioneer in the UK for this style of cider making, and as such they decades of unbeatable experience and skill in this method. The only difference being they use apple juice, as opposed to grape juice! 

 

Gospel Green 2017 Rosé cider is made from a blend of the finest Blackmoor Estate hand-picked apples with a touch of Pinot Noir. This fine cider is made using the ‘traditional method’ to create aromatics of wild strawberry and hedgerow berries. A really innovative cider made from a blend of 20% cooking and  80% dessert apples with a  dosage of Pinot Noir. Cellar-aged for a minimum of 12 months, this cider uses the same production technique as Champagne – indeed, Gospel Green is the only cidermaker whose ciders are analysed by the IOC in Epernay, in Champagne – and it very much reflects the Gospel Green house style of finesse and subtlety.
