y emocionante lúpulo australiano: Eclipse. Esta variedad ha tenido mucha atención en los últimos meses y probablemente es el lúpulo de Hop Product Australia del que más se ha hablado desde Galaxy. Al igual que Galaxy es una variedad muy frutal, pero en este caso apunta a la naranja. Combinado con Enigma, otro favorito de Australia, esta IPA es todo sobre naranja, mandarina, vino blanco, uva y mucha resina. Cuando hablabamos sobre esta birra con Benedikt de Simply, ambos quisimos que esta birra sea potente en aroma y sabor , con un cuerpo cremoso pero con un final algo seco y con amargor suficiente para llevar la bebilidad al máximo. Para lograr esto, Romance termina con una gravedad final algo más baja que todas nuestras IPAs, pero debido al suave perfil de agua y adicion de molienda, llena la boca con una cremosidad que gentilmente baja dejando un final refrescante.

Thanks to Simply Hops we have been lucky enough to be one of the first in Spain to brew with the exciting new Australian hop: Eclipse. This hop has been getting huge attention and is probably the most talked about hop release from Hop Products Australia since Galaxy. Like Galaxy it is very fruit forward but this one is big on orange. Paired with Enigma, another favourite Australian hop, this IPA is all orange, tangerine, white wine, grape and plenty of dankness. When discussing this beer with Benedikt from Simpy Hops, we both wanted this beer to be big on aroma and flavour, creamy in body yet finish with some dryness and enough bitterness to give maximum drinability. To this end this beer finishes with a lower finishing gravity than many of our IPA’s but due to the soft water profile and grist additions it fills the mouth with a creaminess that gently slides away leaving a refreshing finish.
