CAP’N FREAKFLAG. Hemos estado esperando mucho tiempo para hacer otra colaboración con nuestros vecinos de Cyclic Beer Farm y aquí está. Ambas cervecerías comparten el mismo amor por las cervezas tradicionales y fáciles de

y en Garage hemos estado produciendo muchas Bitters últimamente. Queríamos elaborar una oda a una de nuestras cervezas favoritas de Yorkshire. Se trata de una cerveza bastante sencilla que destila complicidad a partir de los pocos ingredientes de calidad que contiene. Una base de malta Maris Otter se dejó hervir durante un largo periodo hasta que alcanzó un color entre dorado claro y ámbar y se concentró con un toque delicioso de galleta y caramelo. Tres aportes de lúpulo de tres variedades diferentes durante el tiempo de cocción aportan una mezcla de mermelada de frutas y un toque picante de pimienta blanca. Una nueva levadura invitada, conocida por su alto perfil de ésteres de malta y fruta, se encargó del trabajo pesado. Por último, la cerveza se filtró justo antes del final de la fermentación para conseguir una carbonatación suave y un cuerpo redondo y suave. Creemos que es la cerveza perfecta para beber en un acogedor pub y disfrutar de charlas con buenos amigos.

We’ve been waiting ages to do another collab with our funky neighbours at Cyclic Beer Farm and here it is. Both breweries share the same love for traditional, easy drinking beers and at Garage we have been putting out plenty of Bitters of late. We wanted to brew an ode to an absolute favourite of ours from Yorkshire. It is a pretty simple beer that eeks complecxity out of the few quality ingredients contain within. A malt base of Maris Otter was given an extended boil until it reached a light golden to amber colour and was concentrated with beautiful biscuit and caramel character. Three hop additions during the boil of three different varieties give a blend of earthy marmalade and a white pepper spiciness. A novel guest yeast known for a high malt and fruit driven ester profile was brought in to do the heavy lifting. Finally the beer was spunded just before the end of fermentation to achieve a gentle, soft carbonation and round, smooth body. We feel this is the perfect beer to drink in a snug of a cosy pub and enjoy chats with good friends. Ver menos
