Nel 2018 ci siamo sfidati a usare una serie di frutti nuovi per ampliare la nostra tavolozza e per fare pratica. Quando ci è stato offerto un campione di ribes nero appena raccolto di alta qualità, non abbiamo potuto resistere. Vi presentiamo una metamorfosi per i vostri sensi. Utilizzando come base la birra Agrestic Ale invecchiata dai 12 ai 36 mesi, a cui aggiungiamo 180 g/l di ribes nero, la birra subisce la maturazione finale nei nostri “Fruiders” di quercia francese per altri quattro mesi. Una convergenza di tannini morbidi e pigmenti violacei profondi, marmellata di uva spina, un’acidità rinfrescante e pelle terrosa suscitano note simili a una grape ale. Nasce una nuova variante di una delle prime creazioni di Barrelworks. Santé!
