8.4% Scottish stock pale ale hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and fermented in oak. This crisp stock beer was brewed with Pilsner malt and hopped with lots of whole flower Mandarina Bavaria from Locher Hopfen in Tettnang, kings of German hops. It was open fermented warm to encourage fruity esters before wood aging with more whole flower hops to encourage deep funks and further vibrant hop expression. The beer pours golden with richly fluffed foam and aromas of stewed clementine, ripe mango and passion fruit. On the palate, dryness, softness, bitterness and a flutter of refreshing acidity. Lovely stuff.
