Sofa is a lush Hazy IPA that captures an intense bouquet of tropical and stone fruits. The use of Citra provides bright layers of grapefruit and lime, while Galaxy contributes deep notes of passionfruit and peach. The inclusion of HBC586 adds a complex fruit medley ranging from mango to guava. On the palate, the experience is soft and pillowy, echoing the brewer's intent for a comfortable, approachable profile. The malt remains a clean, bready backdrop, allowing the massive hop saturation to lead without harshness. It finishes with a delicate, juicy sweetness and a restrained bitterness that highlights the vibrant, modern hop character.

Appearance. Color ranges from straw to light gold (3–6 SRM). The beer is opaque with a characteristic hazy shine but remains free of visible particulates. It is topped by a high, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a tropical explosion of mango, passionfruit, and guava. Complementary citrus notes of lime and grapefruit are present. The malt character is low, offering a neutral, bready, and grainy background with no caramel or toastiness. Esters are fruity and well-integrated.

Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor, echoing the aroma with notes of peach, lychee, and citrus zest. The malt flavor is low and crackery, providing a simple foundation. Perceived bitterness is low to medium, masked by a fuller body and a soft, off-dry finish. No harshness or astringency in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with 6.5% ABV. The beer lacks any acidic twang or raw starch harshness.
