On the palate, the beer is voluminous and smooth, balancing the sweetness of toffee and licorice with the assertive, non-burnt bitterness of specialty coffee and roasted malts. A gentle, integrated alcohol warmth emerges in the finish, complementing a complex profile of dark fruits and toasted nuts, maintaining a velvety balance between sweetness and torrefaction.
Appearance. Deep mahogany to opaque dark brown (25-30 SRM); abundant, dense, and highly persistent beige foam with fine lacing; clear despite its visual depth.
