ZerB is a refreshing Basque interpretation of a Kölsch, delivering a clean and balanced sensory experience. It presents a light golden color with a slight, characteristic haze from the inclusion of wheat, which contributes to its notably soft and rounded texture. The bouquet is delicate, offering low grainy-sweet malt aromas alongside subtle fruity esters of apple and pear. The palate is defined by a very low bitterness and a gentle malt presence that gives way to a marked, fresh hop flavor in the finish. Crisp and well-attenuated, it remains light-bodied and exceptionally easy-drinking, making it a versatile pairing for diverse cuisines.

Appearance. Medium yellow to light gold; slightly hazy or foggy due to the wheat content, departing from the traditional brilliant clarity. Features a delicate, white head with moderate persistence.

Aroma. Low intensity aromatics featuring grainy-sweet malt and a hint of bready notes. Subtle fruity esters like pear or apple are present, accompanied by a low, pleasant floral and herbal hop character. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Delicate balance of soft, grainy malt and light fruitiness. Bitterness is very low, allowing the malt and hop flavors to shine. The finish is soft and dry, characterized by a lingering, identifiable floral hop presence that is refreshing and clean.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft palate aided by the wheat. Carbonation is moderate. Not heavy or harsh, with no significant alcohol warmth at 5.3% ABV.
