Prejudice is a distinctive take on the American IPA, marrying the punchy hop character of the style with the nostalgic, warm spice of a ginger biscuit. It opens with an inviting aroma of citrusy hops and fresh ginger root, supported by a toasted malt base that evokes golden biscuits. On the palate, a firm bitterness cuts through the subtle sweetness, delivering layers of resinous pine and zesty ginger. The 5.8% ABV provides a crisp framework for the spicy interplay, leading to a dry, lingering finish where the heat of the ginger meets a clean, hoppy snap and a touch of malt attitude.

Appearance. Color is medium gold to light reddish-amber with excellent clarity. It supports a medium-sized, off-white head with good persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring citrus and pine characteristics, significantly augmented by sharp, spicy ginger notes. A medium-low toasted, bready maltiness supports the spice, while the fermentation profile remains clean with minimal esters.

Taste. A hop-forward initial impression defined by resinous and citrus flavors quickly meets a warm ginger spice. Medium-low toasted malt provides a biscuit-like flavor profile. The balance is bitter and hop-centric with medium-high bitterness. It finishes medium-dry with a lingering, spicy ginger and hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high. A very light, smooth warmth is present, enhanced by the natural prickle of ginger spice.
