This American IPA presents a bold, aromatic profile defined by a brutally intense hop presence and a unique structural backbone derived from the addition of oats. Despite the contradictory naming, its 7% ABV delivers a perceptible warmth that integrates seamlessly with a resinous, pine-forward hop character. The oatmeal provides a smooth, rounded texture that tempers the aggressive bitterness, leading into a notably dry finish. Expect a complex interplay of forest-like resin and sharp citrus, supported by a clean, grainy malt base. It is a vibrant ale that balances high-octane hop saturation with a deceptively drinkable, crisp, and drying profile.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx. 8-12 SRM). Exhibits a slight haze typical of an oatmeal-infused mash. Features a persistent, medium-sized off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by resinous pine and sharp citrus. A clean, grainy malt background is present, with very low sweet esters. A subtle, smooth alcohol warmth is detectable as the beer opens up.

Taste. The initial impression is one of firm, assertive bitterness that lingers into the finish. High hop flavors of pine and resinous needles are prominent. The malt provides a low, grainy support with a slight bready character from the oats.
