Appearance. Opaque dark brown to jet black (35+ SRM) with a thick, creamy tan head featuring excellent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma of freshly ground coffee and woody cinnamon. Underlying base notes of roasted malt provide hints of dark chocolate and toasted crust. Hop aroma is absent, and the fermentation profile is clean.
Taste. Leading with a rich blend of spicy cinnamon and earthy coffee, the flavor follows the aroma closely. The base Stout provides flavors of bittersweet chocolate and roasted grain. Bitterness is moderate and well-balanced against a light residual sweetness, leading to a smooth, lingering finish of spiced coffee.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing enough lift to balance the richness. No astringency from the spices or roasted grains; very low alcohol warmth.
