Lush is a decadent Double IPA that emphasizes a rich, velvety texture while showcasing a potent dry-hop profile. The sensory experience is led by the vibrant interplay of Citra, Cascade, and Centennial hops, delivering an intense bouquet of grapefruit, lime, and resinous pine. Citra provides a bright tropical and citrus zest, while Centennial adds a deep floral complexity and Cascade offers its signature grapefruit and floral notes. Despite its 7.8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a clean, neutral malt backbone that supports the hop-forward character. It finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering bitterness that invites another sip of this resinous, fruit-laden ale.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with brilliant clarity and a moderate, persistent off-white head that leaves sticky lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by citrus zest, specifically grapefruit and orange, alongside floral notes and a touch of pine. A very low, neutral, grainy malt sweetness is present in the background with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. High hop bitterness is balanced by a clean, soft, neutral malt character. Flavors of fresh citrus, tropical fruit, and pine resin mirror the aroma. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a clean, lingering hoppy bitterness and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, lush texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a lively feel. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency.
