Shy Giant is a balanced American Amber Ale that bridges the gap between traditional British malt depth and vibrant New World hopping. The use of red and extra dark Crystal malts provides a robust, coppery-brown foundation characterized by sweet raisin and rich caramel. This malt complexity is countered by a confident arrival of American hops, delivering distinct layers of zesty orange and pithy grapefruit. Appearance. Deep amber to coppery-brown with distinct reddish highlights. Displays a moderately large, creamy off-white head with good retention and light lacing. Generally clear.
