Wrężel Zero reimagines the American IPA as a refreshing, non-alcoholic experience that retains a bold hop-forward identity. The aroma is highly expressive, bursting with zesty grapefruit, resinous pine, and subtle floral notes typical of American hop varieties. On the palate, the beer presents a crisp and light grainy malt profile that quickly yields to a firm, clean bitterness. Flavors of citrus zest and earthy resin dominate, leading into a bone-dry finish. Despite its low alcohol content, it maintains a sharp, hoppy character and a vibrant carbonation that ensures a bright, lively mouthfeel, perfectly capturing the classic West Coast spirit in a lighter format.
Appearance. Gold to deep gold in color (SRM 6-9). The beer exhibits excellent clarity with a large, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and a hint of tropical fruit. The malt character is low and clean, providing a light crackery background without any caramel. Esters are negligible, and there is no detectable alcohol.
Taste. The flavor is dominated by medium-high hop notes of citrus peel and resinous pine. A firm, medium-high bitterness provides a sharp counterpoint to a very low, grainy malt sweetness. The fermentation is clean, leading into a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering bitterness and hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a thin but smooth texture. Carbonation is high, contributing to a crisp and refreshing sensation. There is absolutely no alcohol warmth or astringency.
