The inclusion of Bourbon vanilla provides a luxurious, floral sweetness that integrates seamlessly with the creamy lactose and silken texture from the oats. Roasted malts offer deep notes of dark chocolate and sweetened espresso without harshness, while Chinook hops provide a subtle, grounding bitterness to balance the residual sugars. With a medium-full body and a velvety finish, it evokes a coffee-and-cream sensation, elevated by complex layers of dark chocolate malt and refined vanilla spice.
Appearance. Opaque, jet black (40 SRM). Topped with a dense, persistent, creamy tan head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
