Divinity presents a vibrant, multi-layered sensory experience characteristic of a modern fruited Wild Specialty Beer. A lush bouquet of tropical mango and pungent passion fruit dominates the nose, sharpened by the bright, floral scent of fresh raspberries. On the palate, the interplay of tangy fruit acids and silky lactose creates a smoothie-like profile where the sharp acidity of the passion fruit is tempered by a creamy, rounded sweetness. The raspberries provide a lingering, jammy finish. While the base sourness is firm, the fruit integration is seamless, delivering an intense, dessert-like complexity without sacrificing its refreshing, tart edge.
Appearance. Deep coral to reddish-pink hue (SRM 10–14), decidedly hazy to opaque due to fruit solids and lactose. Pours with a thick, fleeting pinkish-white head that leaves minimal lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Explosive notes of ripe mango and zesty passion fruit are primary. Secondary aromas of tart red raspberry and a soft, milky sweetness from lactose. Fermentation character is clean and lactic with very low floral esters; no hop aroma.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of acidic passion fruit and sweet mango nectar. The mid-palate introduces a sharp raspberry tartness. Lactose provides a smooth, balancing sweetness that offsets the high acidity. Hop bitterness is absent; the finish is tangy and fruit-forward with a lingering jammy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, notably creamy and viscous from the lactose and fruit purée. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable lactic tartness provides a mouth-watering sensation without harsh astringency. Low alcohol warmth.
