Braindead is a vibrant, neon-pink Wild Specialty Beer that masterfully balances a lactic-tart core with a cornucopia of bright fruit. The aroma is dominated by a nostalgic strawberry shortcake character, where sweet berry notes intertwine with a soft, biscuit-like malt backbone. On the palate, a slippery wave of raspberry and tropical pink guava provides a lush fruit depth, sharpened by the clean acidity of a kettle sour fermentation. Hibiscus tea contributes a floral complexity and a subtle, drying tannic edge that keeps the finish delicate and refreshing. Appearance. Radiant pink to soft ruby hue (SRM 3-5 tinted). Pours with a moderate pink-tinted head that has poor to fair retention. Significant haze from the guava and hibiscus infusion, creating an opaque, punch-like appearance with light lacing.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a slightly slippery, smooth texture from the guava nectar. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a prickly, refreshing effervescence that lifts the heavy fruit character. No alcohol warmth is present. A very subtle tannic astringency from the hibiscus tea adds structure to the otherwise soft, delicate finish.
